Harisha Baniya is rising artist in the field of acting. She has spread her talent from Television screen to theater.  Different type of acting talent led her to the sucess very soon.

19 years old Baniya, who was born at Urlabari in Morang, devoted herself fully in acting after SLC.  She was known as a good athlete during her school days. At the mean time, her achievement in dramatical field was also remarkable. She has acted in more than 18 dramas till now.

Her fans have appreciated for her acting in " Chori ko karma ra jaal" She has acted in the film "six city" made in United Kingdom. She has acted as lead actress in film "Odhar". Harisha won the title of "Miss Jhapa" on 2062 (B.S). She has been working in many Nepali serials including "Bagya Afno Afno, Meri Bassai, Baunna Gussa, Runche haso, Thorai baye pugi sari, jiban Chakra" including others.

She also writes poems in her free time. Saying herself to be more talent in acting, she says, "I can caricature in 12 different languages". She thinks she has good future in the field. So, she has determined to establish herself as a good artist.
